Auto Alert BDC Position

Carter Honda is now accepting applications for an Auto Alert BDC Associate to join our elite team. If you are experienced, fast paced, self motivated and great with customers, we want you!

1. Maintaining and updating current customers automotive information (phone call and mailer updates to current clients).
2. Generating quality appointments for the Sales Department, utilizing Carter Honda’s Auto Alert data base.
3. Structure a process to incorporate all “online sales” requests, and all inbound “phone call sales” request.

Department Process and Operation: Operates from Monday to Friday (9am-6pm).

9:00am – Begin day by reviewing potential upgrade clients for the day.
9:45am – Daily game plan meeting with a Sales Manager.
10:00am (1hour calling) – Start calling upgrade customers (booking appointments ONLY).
11:00am – 15minute coffee break (paid for).
11:15am (1hour 45minute calling) – Call upgrade customers (booking appointments ONLY).
1:00pm – 1hour lunch Break (not paid).
2:00pm (2hour calling) – Call upgrade customers (follow-up with morning phone calls).
4:00pm – 15minute coffee break (paid for).
4:15pm – (1hour 15minute calling) – Start calling upgrade customers (follow-up with the days phone calls).
5:30pm – Meeting with a Sales Managers (lead distributions review).
6:00pm – Day complete.

*5 hours of phone call hours per day (5min per call = 60 calls a day).
*25 hours per week.
*100 hours per month.

Sales Associate

Carter Honda is now accepting applications for a Sales Associate to join our elite team. If you are experienced, fast paced, self motivated and great with customers, we want you! We offer four levels of Pre-Owned vehicles, with a Progressive Commission Pay Plan!

We are looking for well organized, customer service orientated, team player with strong prospecting, closing & lead management skills. Automotive sales experience and passion for the industry is a must!

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Greeting, logging and replying to customers promptly in which ever manner they have communicated with you (walk-in, phone call or email).
  • Sales of New & Pre-Owned Vehicles
  • Working with the Business Office, Parts & Service department to arrange customer delivery of sold units
  • Previous experience in Automotive Sales
  • Skillful negotiation, presentation and closing abilities
  • Computer skills – Microsoft Programs
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • New Vehicle product training for further knowledge.

  • Photograph, coordinate and when instructed perform light details work on the vehicle inventory
  • Provide additional support as needed to the sales department as required, ie. transporting vehicles, assisting in preparing vehicles for delivery, etc.

Automotive Parts Advisor

Position Overview: 

Responsible for the efficient ordering, stocking and sale of parts to retail, wholesale, internal, service and shop customers. Take orders for customers, provides price quotes and information about parts and specials. Works efficiently and provides a high level of customer service.

• Take orders for parts by phone, email, technician counter, retail counter, internal customer and wholesale account
• Organize and fill orders out of dealership inventory
• Stage orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick up
• Replenish assigned inventory daily and keep displays stocked and clean
• Assist in the collection of data necessary for efficient inventory control

• Keep Parts Manager/Assistant Parts Manager notified of out of stock parts; shop materials or problem parts

• Keep department forms, menus and pricing guides u p to date
• Issue credit for returned parts; ensure original invoice or its number; verify purchase and pricing
• Organize and pack obsolete parts to be shipped back to manufacturer, if necessary
• Sell the value of the Service Department by recommending work/installations be done by dealership
• Effectively handle minor customer complaints and misunderstandings
• Maintain high customer satisfaction standards
